What is a
No Fault Divorce?
The no
fault divorce or uncontested divorce is not new, but recently
all states have adopted the no fault divorce or uncontested
divorce so that couples may obtain a divorce without having to
prove one party is at fault in order to obtain a divorce.
The uncontested divorce allows the parties to focus their
efforts on the terms of the divorce and in turn have a more
peaceful divorce which helps simplify the divorce process and
reduces the number of lengthy court cases involving
divorces. If you and your spouse can put your differences aside
and come to an agreement on all aspects of your divorce such as
property, child visitation and alimony, then you can take
advantage of the no fault divorce or uncontested divorce laws in
your state, and obtain a no fault divorce or uncontested divorce
without having to have a lawyer represent you in court.
Using our No Fault Divorce Forms you could be divorced in as
little as thirty days (depending on your state), and save
thousands of dollars in legal fees.
 |
95%
of all divorces are settled before reaching the
courtroom. |
 |
No
fault divorces are legal in all 50 US states. |
 |
Attorneys
charge from $110 to $380 an hour for consultations. |
 |
In a contested divorce you
may be ordered to pay all of your spouse's legal
fees and court costs. |
 |
Joint
Child Custody does not have to mean equal
time-sharing. |
